The Society for Human Resource Management, along with several other major corporate organizations such as The Conference Board, has embraced the initiative of workforce readiness of all high school and college students.

In 2006 the 64 page report, "Are Our Students Workforce Ready?", compared  the skill gaps of industry's needs with the current skill level of our students.
